Features of Totte’s Photography Plans

1

No Extra Fees for Group Size

撮影人数による追加料金はありません

We do not set a limit on the number of people in a session. Whether it’s a Shichi-Go-San celebration with three generations or a shoot with multiple families, there’s no additional charge. However, for groups of 10 or more, we recommend booking a 90- or 120-minute plan to ensure everyone is photographed comfortably within the available time.

2

Flexible Locations Within the Session Time

ロケーション写真

You can change shooting locations within your booked session time, as long as they’re within the same city. Travel time counts toward the session, but combinations like your home and a nearby park, or two to three autumn spots in Jozankei, are possible. We also cover areas such as Sapporo and Otaru—let us know your preferences.

3

Flexible Rescheduling for Bad Weather

天候写真

We check the forecast the day before your session and will contact you to discuss rescheduling if conditions look unfavorable. If postponement isn’t possible due to travel plans, we’ll adjust the time to avoid the worst weather whenever possible. For light rain or mild wind, sessions usually go ahead as planned.

4

Receive All Usable Photos

写真データ

Except for closed-eye shots or similar unusable images, you’ll receive all photo data from your session. Delivery is via a download link, making it easy to share with family and friends.

5

Professionally Edited Images

スタイリング写真

All photos are shot in high-quality RAW format (delivered in JPEG). Each image is carefully edited for brightness, color, and skin tone, so delivery typically takes 3–4 weeks. If you need your photos sooner, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

6

No Extra Travel Fees Within Sapporo

北海道地図

We do not charge additional travel fees for any location within Sapporo, including Teine and Jozankei. For shoots outside Sapporo, we can travel anywhere in Hokkaido with a modest additional fee based on distance.

代表者写真

Hello, my name is Fuyuta Yamada, the founder of totte_photography. After gaining experience at a studio in Sapporo photographing weddings, photo weddings, families, and portraits, I started my own business in the fall of 2018. Today, I photograph a wide range of sessions, from on-location shoots and bridal portraits to Shichi-Go-San and coming-of-age ceremonies. In recent years, inbound photography for visitors to Hokkaido has also grown significantly. My style is relaxed and conversational—I rarely ask clients to “smile for the camera.” Instead, I capture natural moments as they unfold, creating photos that reflect the joy of the experience itself.

FAQ

What Happens if the Weather Is Bad?
We check the forecast the day before and decide whether it’s possible to proceed. If rescheduling isn’t an option due to travel, we’ll adjust the session time to avoid the worst of the weather. For light rain or mild wind, sessions usually continue as planned.
How Many People Are Included in the Plan?
We don’t set a strict limit on group size, so even large groups or multiple families can join without extra fees. However, if you’d like a variety of groupings—such as each family separately, children only, or couple portraits—we recommend booking at least a 90-minute session to ensure enough time.
Can We Shoot at Two Locations?
Yes, as long as travel time fits within your booked session. For example, with a 120-minute plan, you could spend 45 minutes at home, 15 minutes traveling, and 60 minutes in a park. The required time depends on the shoot content, so please feel free to consult us.
Is There a Cancellation Fee?
No fee is charged for rescheduling due to illness or bad weather. However, if outfits, hair & makeup, or venue reservations have already been arranged, their individual policies apply. For client-initiated cancellations: General photography — 50% of the fee if canceled 7 days to 1 day before; 100% on the day. Pre-wedding & wedding photography — 50% of the quoted amount if canceled 10–7 days prior; 100% within 7 days of the shoot.
Can You Arrange Hair & Makeup?
Yes, we can arrange for hair and makeup services at your home or hotel within the Sapporo area. Please let us know in advance if you’d like this option.
Do You Offer Kimono or Wedding Dress Rentals?
Yes. In addition to nationwide wedding dress and tuxedo rental shops, we can also introduce local Sapporo partners offering kimono rentals for Shichi-Go-San, yukata, and formal wear. Please contact us for details.
Do You Accept Credit Card Payments?
Unfortunately, we do not accept credit cards. Payment can be made in cash or via bank transfer.
